Books: Store flat in small boxes

Boxes: Label and fill to capacity

Cast iron: coat with thin layer of oil

Computers: Wrap in bubble wrap and store
in container securely with
padding top bottom and sides or preferably in
original packaging.

Fragile items: Wrap individually and put
protection above, below and around items in carton. Avoid storing heavy
items on these boxes, and mark “Fragile”

prop doors slightly open

Lawnmowers and similar: Drain out fuel and
oil as these can be a fire hazard.

Lounges: Vacuum under cushions

Organizing storage area: Walkways help. Store
items you may need access to in front. Heavy Items to rear of storage
space with lighter items on top

Paintings, Mirrors and similar: Wrap in
bubble wrap and store on edge, not flat

Prohibited items: Environmentally damaging,
stolen, illegal, inflammable, explosive, hazardous like petrol,
chlorine, paint, acid or perishable items.

store records on edge not flat to prevent warping

put in containers or original cartons.
